The test that is used in diagnosing asthma allergy is just by asking questions about the condition of the patient. If they cough a lot especially at night, and other symptoms of asthma allergy like the tightness of the chest, colds that last for more than ten days, and wheezing. They will also ask you if your family have a history of asthma allergy and other breathing problems.
There is also a test for your lungs and it is called spirometry. This measures the largest amount of the air that you can exhale after a deep breath. This test can be performed before and after you use asthma medication.
